Footy Show
We have been invited to do a TV shoot with the NRL Footy Show! Finally, the recognition we have been longing for! Basically they are doing a segment on sports that aren’t yet in the Olympics but should be. Their resident funny guy ‘Mario Fenech’ will be joining us in the water to experience UWR first hand.
So make sure you keep the evening of Tuesday 28th February free. We’ve tentatively locked in an after hours shoot at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre for 9pm!
Upcoming 6-week comp
More excitement to follow on the horizon in the form of a six week competition organized by Steph. You may even choose to call it the ‘Crittenden Cup’. This will be a prepaid comp where we are divided into 3-4 teams of six. Teams will play at least one match every Sunday for five weeks, with points carrying over, and the grand final on week 6. There might not be a big shiny trophy, but there will be plenty of honour and tough competition. We’ll reveal more details soon!
Self Evaluation
Don’t forget to check out some of the vids that have been put together from our last Wednesday session to do a bit of self-evaluation. The goalkeeping video is especially interesting.
